 MOMMA KNOWS

 Well, I’d like to say
it ain’t the way she wears
 that tight silk skirt.

And I’d like to say the
 way she smells
 Dont’ make this boy
 wanna flirt.
 And I’d like to say
 she ain’t sweet
 like strawberry cream pie.

 But I can’t !
‘ Cause my momma
raised this boy not to lie.

Now I’d like to say the way she walks
Don’t make my knees go weak.
And I’d like to say that the way she talks
dont make it hard for me to speak.

And I’d like to say that she
don’t make my heart wanna fly.

But I can’t !
‘Cause momma
raised this boy not to lie.

Well, I got a couple friends say I’m crazy
To tell the truth to a girl ain’t cool...
But I gotta a feeling they’re just too damn lazy
‘Cause no good girl wants a lyin’ fool.

Said, I got a couple friends say I’m crazy
To tell the truth to a girl ain’t cool...
But I gotta a feeling they’re just too damn lazy
‘Cause no good girl wants a lyin’ fool.

Well, I’d like to say her body doesn’t make
My head start to sweat.
And I’d like to say her lips don’t
Cause my mind to forget.

And I’d like to say that she don’t bring
A tear to my eye.

But I can’t !
‘Cause momma
raised this boy not to lie.

...momma raised this boy not to lie....
